Procurement exercise for drainage, heating and associated planned maintenance works at Welburn Hall School

PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION

To undertake a procurement exercise for drainage, heating and associated planned maintenance works at Welburn Hall School.

BACKGROUND TO SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION

The scheme forms part of the Children and Young People’sService Schools Condition Grant.   

The procurement process is programmed to begin in September 2023.The work is programmed to commence on site in August 2024, with completion in June 2025.

LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE

This is a key decision.  The proposal to procure was entered on the forward plan in July 2023.

The procurement exercise will be undertaken in accordance with the Council’s Procurement and Contract Procedure Rules and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015

RECOMMENDATION

That the procurement for drainage, heating and associated planned maintenance works at Welburn Hall School be approved.
